Chris Pirrone
Vice President & General Counsel
Chris Pirrone serves as Vice President and General Counsel of Connexus, overseeing the company's legal team responsible for all aspects of Connexus legal affairs around the world. In addition, Chris serves as the company's board Secretary.
Previously, Chris was recruited from private practice to join ValueClick Inc. as Associate General Counsel, where he oversaw the legal affairs for a wide array of Internet advertising and marketing businesses, including being solely responsible for legal matters pertaining to European operations. During his tenure at ValueClick, he guided the company through numerous lawsuits, supervised a legal team responsible for the affiliate marketing business, provided legal advice on mergers and acquisitions, and assisted the company’s efforts to expand throughout the US and Europe.
Before moving in house, Chris was a senior associate in the San Francisco office of Seyfarth Shaw, specializing in advice and counsel to companies of all sizes regarding corporate, employment and litigation matters. Before joining Seyfarth Shaw, Chris was a prosecutor with the federal government.
Chris received a BA degree from St. Lawrence University, and a juris doctor degree from the University of Akron School of Law.
