Senior Account Executive, Agency Sales

Job Summary
As a Sr. Account Executive, you will have significant sales responsibilities. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in online and/or traditional media sales having successfully conquered all previous goals and selling to the top agencies. We're looking for an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who will be proactive in driving revenue for the company. Candidates must be results-driven, have strong analytical skills and be able to devise strategies to accomplish any objective. Responsibilities
- Developing and executing a strategic plan to meet aggressive revenue goals in specific vertical markets.
- Strengthening existing relationships and maximizing revenue growth with top clients
- Establish and nurture relationship building with C-level executives and agencies
- Providing training, guidance and feedback to other members of the sales team
- Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Connexus products and services
- Representing Connexus at industry events and conferences
- Travel 25% of the time
Requirements
- 5+ years in sales with a successful track record preferably with start-up experience
- Experience in online and/or traditional media preferred
- Top performer who consistently exceeded goals
- Proven record of relationship building with C-level executives and agencies
- Deep understanding and experience with the Internet's most successful business models
- Superior communication skills - written, verbal and presentation
- Must be a proven team player who can effectively drive the decision-making process
- BA/BS; MBA a plus
