With over ten years experience developing Internet businesses and technologies, Peter Adams serves as Matchpoint's President. As the company's chief executive, Peter is responsible for setting strategic direction as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations.

Prior to Matchpoint, Peter was Chief Technology Officer of Connexus Corporation, a diversified Internet marketing company, where he was responsible for Product development, engineering and operations for all of the company's lines of business. Additionally, Peter spent several years as Chief Technology and Product Officer for LookSmart, Ltd. where he was responsible for the development of the company’s suite of pay-for-performance search advertising products as well as its Web search engines and technologies.

Peter started his career at Internet ad agency Poppe Tyson and has founded several companies such as web analytics provider - Primary Knowledge, and music recommendation site - Upto11.net. Widely recognized as a leading authority on Internet marketing, Peter speaks regularly at industry trade conferences and has contributed articles to publications such as Businessweek.com, The Advertiser, DM News, Forbes, and ADWEEK. He also maintains an active weblog.

Peter holds a B.A. in Political Science from Trinity College in Hartford Connecticut.
